Turning 100 – Woodinville's Hollywood Schoolhouse Celebration Sept. 28

Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville will celebrate 100 years on Friday, Sept. 28, with public tours, wine tasting, vintage cars and a special gift for the first 100 guests.

A designated state and King County Historic Landmark, the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville will celebrate 100 years on Friday, Sept. 28, according to a post on its Facebook page.

In celebration, Hollywood Schoolhouse invites the public for a historic tour from noon to 4 p.m. that day.

The afternoon will consist of wine tasting, appetizers provided by the Hollywood Schoolhouse’s executive chef Frank Pantoja, a vintage car collection, and entertainment. The first 100 guests will receive a gift to commemorate our 100 year anniversary.

Additionally, the Hollywood Schoolhouse has been fortunate to host thousands of weddings and receptions. A special gift will be given to the first 100 brides who bring a picture of their wedding at the Schoolhouse to post on our memory board.

State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe and her husband Jim McAuliffe, owners since 1977, will be there to share the history of Hollywood Schoolhouse with community members: the School days, 1912 to 1920; the Grange Hall, 1950s; the Antique shops, 1977-1989; and Wedding and Receptions: 1989 to present.

"We, the McAuliffe family are honored to share our 100th Anniversary with the Woodinville community and those who share in our history," the Facebook post said.
