Holiday Heads Up: 7 Hills Ride Spins Through Kirkland Monday

About 1,500 cyclists will be participating in the 7 Hills of Kirkland, an event benefiting KITH, the Kirkland non-profit that provides transitional housing for the homeless.

Kirkland, WA – Commuters should use extra caution due to the 7 Hills of Kirkland event to be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 (Memorial Day)Β  from 6:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The cycling event starts and ends at Marina Park in downtown Kirkland. Riders will be present on the following roadways throughout the day: Market Street, Juanita Drive, Holmes Point Drive NE, NE 145th Street, Juanita-Woodinville Way NE, 108th Avenue NE, NE 132nd Street, NE 144th Street, 124th Avenue NE, 119th Avenue NE, 132nd Avenue NE, NE 60th Street, 116th Avenue NE, Lake Washington Boulevard NE, Lake Street S, Kirkland Avenue, and Lakeshore Plaza Drive.

Event organizers anticipate 1,500 cyclists will participate in the annual event. Event website, including route information, may be accessed at www.7hillskirkland.org.
