MEOW Cat Rescue's Annie - Leader of the Band!

This is Annie, an eleven year old sweetheart of a girl.  She is a domestic short hair red/orange tabby with deep, rich coloring and eyes that seem to search your soul.

Annie was returned to MEOW recently when her owner passed away unexpectedly.  She was adopted in December 2012 and was just getting settled into her new home.  We'd love nothing more than to see her find another home very soon.

Annie enjoys playing, especially with laser pointers and she can't resist a little catnip.  She is playful, curious, active, friendly, affectionate and gentle.  What more could one want in a cat?  She currently resides in one of the free roaming rooms at MEOW and loves to sit on the shelves and climbing trees and watch the flurry of activities outside.  Her favorite thing though, is humans.  She pretty much melts when she is petted and snuggled.  She lets us know how happy she is with her happy purring.  She is a tad bit overweight and should ideally lose 2 or 3 pounds - which can be accomplished with lots of playing and food monitoring.

Annie's 'feline-ality' is that of 'Leader of the Band':  I'm a cat who does everything in a big way.  I not only like to be in the middle of things - I like to lead the parade.  I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat that's brimming with confidence? That's me!"

If you're looking for a furry friend, please stop in and meet Annie...she loves company!
