Fall for a Feline!

There are hundreds of reasons to adopt a cat - and every single one of them has a name.

MEOW Cat Rescue in Houghton is thrilled to be celebrating it's 15th year in operation and is reducing the adoption fee of cats over the age of one to $15 for the month of September. Wow - that is indeed a very good deal! All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for feline aids and feline leukemia (FeLV/FIV), receive a series of vaccines and dewormings.

Whatever you may be looking for in a cat, MEOW probably has it. Stripes, spots, speckles, swirls, fluffy cats, sleek cats, long tails, short tails, three leggged cats, cats named after coffee (Latte), cats named after food (Oreo and S'more), and a cat named after an Egyptian Pharoh (Ramses). Some are seniors, some are middle aged and some are barely out of kittenhood. Many were once cherished members of families who for one reason or another, have found themselves at MEOW.
