MEOW Adoption Fees Reduced to $15 to Celebrate 15 Wonderful Years

MEOW Cat: 15 Years of Rescue , $15 Adoption Fees

MEOW CAT RESCUE in Houghton will be celebrating its 15th year next month, and as a way to express a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the community for playing a vital part in helping thousands of animals, the local shelter will be reducing adoption fees during the month of January.

From Jan. 1 through Jan. 31, all cat and kitten adoptions will be reduced to $15.

MEOW still has kittens at the shelter and in foster homes. There are many adult cats available as well. Some are young and barely out of kittenhood themselves -- many of them were first-time mothers. Some are seniors, just looking for a nice, soft, warm, safe place to call home. Most are somewhere in between. All are precious.
