Skye & Zabel - Two Special Kittens Sure to Steal Your Heart

Two kittens are twice the fun!

Just look at these adorable little kittens!  They are as happy and fun as they are cute!  Every day is fun, energetic and busy, busy, busy with these two bouncy kittens.

Skye and Zabel aren't siblings, but....shhhhh...don't tell them because they think they are!  Skye is a female DSH gray/blue kitten with a roundish body shape and Zabel is a male DSH black kitten who is more on the svelte side.  These two kittens are very bonded and need to be adopted as a pair.

Skye was born to a feral mama cat and Zabel was rescued from a ventilation system at a local motel.  Skye is about 3 - 4 weeks older than Zabel.  They have been living in a foster home where adult cats reside and they get along very well with them.  They have grown and blossomed in so many ways and are now ready to find their forever home.   They are both perfect litterbox users.

Skye has a chronic mild upper respiratory infection that causes her to be snuffly at times and she 'whistles' out of her nose as well.  She has been x-rayed and thoroughly examined so we know the condition isn't serious.  We keep a humidifier running which does seem to ease her symptoms.  She may need to have an occasional  'nasal flush' done at the vet several times a year, but we don't know this for sure.  We are hoping that she will outgrow it.  She doesn't seem to notice, as she runs, jumps and plays with abandon.

Zabel is a little dolly.  He was found in a ventilation pipe in a motel when the weather was bitterly cold.  No doubt, he was trying to stay warm.  When found, he was suffering trauma to his left eye.  His upper and lower inner lid were attaching to each other.  This was trimmed and he was treated with eye ointment.  He is as good as new now and won't need to be seen by the eye doctor again.  He looks to Skye for reassurance and is the more rambunctious of the two.  He purrs almost non-stop and can't resist a nice warm lap to snuggle into.

Both kittens have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, received a series of vaccines and dewormings.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
