Introducing Susie! She is a a 2 ½ year old domestic short hair torbie with white. What is a torbie? A torbie is a tortoiseshell with tabby stripes! Susie is a beautiful representation of this combination.
Susie, a young mother and her four kittens were found homeless in rural King county in early December. They were scooped up and brought to the safety of a MEOW foster home. The little family grew and thrived in their new environment. The kittens have all grown like little weeds and have been adopted. Now it is Susie’s turn.
Susie’s foster family give her glowing reviews: she is affectionate, quiet, gentle mellow, easy going and uses her litterbox like a perfect lady. She gets along well with other cats, parrots and even lizards! Though she isn’t a big fan of dogs, she does tolerate them. She hasn’t lived with young children, but given a proper introduction, she will most likely do fine.
Like all cats and kittens at MEOW, Susie has been spayed, microchipped, received a series of vaccines and dewormings and will go home with a free ‘Well Kitty Exam’ voucher which can be redeemed at most King County veterinary offices.
Susie’s 'feline-ality' is that of a Personal Assistant. The definition of a Personal Assistant: "You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop in your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores and I'll help you relax when we're done. You'll wonder how you ever managed without me."
If you’ve been looking for a young feline to brighten up your home, Susie may just be the one for you. Please stop in and see for yourself what a little gem she is!
