Just look at this beautiful girl! She is as sweet and friendly as she is gorgeous. Ducati is a 9 month old domestic long hair blue kitten who was found in a garage giving birth. This kitten was having kittens herself and was in great distress as the result of a very difficult birthing process. She was rushed to the vet where she underwent an emergency C-section; only one kitten survived. After spending six weeks with mama, the baby kitten was placed in a foster home with other kittens so he could grow and learn as kittens need to do.
During a recent exam, we found a pellet lodged in Ducati's rear hip. Who would do such a thing? There is so much we don't know about this sweet girl's past, but what we do know is that she is an absolute love. She is very social and loves being petted, especially on her soft belly. She likes to crawl into your lap and cuddle, then jump around and play. Sudden movements and loud noises frighten her, but she always comes back for more cuddles. Ducati will walk under your feet until you notice her!
We think Ducati would do well as a single cat or in a home with other friendly cats, as long as they are all properly introduced. Neighbor children have been visiting her, and she seems to do quite well with them. Ducati has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FeLv/FIV and is current on vaccines. She is ready to go!
