A neighbor on Saturday reported seeing the man, who appeared to be disabled, wandering through the backyard of a home in the 6400 block of 131st AVE SE in the Newport Hills neighborhood, according to a Bellevue Police press release.

The man was described as Asian, wearing blue jeans and a red shirt, and walking without shoes, according to a press release.

"Upon contact the subject was found walking in the roadway and we were unable to verbally communicate with him," according to Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate. The man had grass in his mouth, the press release noted.

Medics transported him to Overlake Hospital Medical Center. So far, checks of neighboring police agencies and surrounding adult family homes are negative, the press release said.

If anyone is able to identify this man, please contact the Bellevue Police Department via 9-1-1 immediately.
