Breaking: Police Hunt Armed Bank Robber in Redmond

The First Citizens Bank on Northeast 85th Street was robbed just after noon on Wednesday.

 

are searching for a man who robbed a downtown bank at gunpoint on Wednesday afternoon.

Department spokesman Jim Bove said the suspect entered the in the 15800 block of NE 85th St. at 12:01 p.m. and pointed a black handgun at a bank employee. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect escaped on foot and headed south toward QFC, Bove said. He is described as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin-to-medium build.

He was wearing a green hoodie, black shorts and a white hat, and had black tape over his nose.

Anyone who sees someone matching this description is asked to call 911.

If this is the best video the bank has of the robber, their cameras are sure poorly placed.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.
