When contacted by Patch, the homeowner explained that the subjects appeared to try to break into his home after he left for work. The man's wife was still in the home, but didn't hear any sort of disturbance because she was showering at the time.

When the men couldn't get into the home, they turned their attention to an unlocked shed on the property. The homeowner said the subjects made off with about $2,000 worth of tools and equipment, including a generator and a pressure washer.

When the man's wife finished with her shower she discovered the two subjects on the property. Before she could get outside they left in what the homeowner described as a silver Volvo, which is visible in the security footage. The woman then contacted her husband.

When his wife told him what happened, the homeowner logged into his secuity system, scrolled back through the video, and found evidence of the crime. He then contacted police and provided the video.

Woodinville Police are now seeking any information on the crime.

In speaking with a neighbor, the homeowner learned that the neighbor had seen and confronted the subjects at about 4 a.m. They claimed to be looking for someone and apparently remained in the area.
