"Fire in the Grass" Concert to Benefit Local Charities, Firefighter Funds

Fire department benevolent funds from Woodinville, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Eastside, and Mercer Island are hosting the event at Redhook Brewery on August 28.

"Fire in the Grass" is a battle of the bands benefit concert on Aug. 28 at , organized by area firefighters benevolent fund groups.

Proceeds will go to Musclar Dystrophy AssociationRyan's Solution, firefighters benevolent funds in KirklandWoodinville, Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Eastside and Mercer Island, as well as the Bellevue Honor Guard.

The concert is from noon to 9 p.m., with a suggested donation of $10. Redhook is donating the use of its Grassy Bowl area, and a percentage of all food and beverage sales at the concert will go to the charities, according to Liz Downs, one of the event coordinators.

12:30 p.m. - The Maltby Crew
2 p.m. - Three Trick Pony  
4 p.m. - Bald Mountain Blue Grass
5 p.m. - Eclectic Approach  
6 p.m. Bellevue Honor Guard and Eastside Fire Pipes and Drums
6:30 p.m. - Austin Jenckes 
8 p.m. - Velcro Mindset
