Robber Hits Juanita Bank of America

FBI has issued surveillance photos and is seeking information about the suspect, a stocky white male about 5-foot-10.

The FBI is investigating an armed robbery Friday morning of the Juanita Village branch of the Bank of America and has issued surveillance photos in seeking help from the public.

A man described as 30 to 40 years old, about 5-foot-10 with a stocky build and dark hair, robbed the bank at about 10 a.m. using a silver handgun, said FBI Agent Fred Gutt in Seattle.

The suspect was wearing denim jeans, a blue plaid shirt, dark baseball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the individual(s) in the photos is asked to contact the FBI at telephone 206-622-0460 or email seattle.fbi@ic.fbi.gov. The man should be considered armed and dangerous.

Gutt said he believed the organization Crimestoppers would be offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Kirkland police initially responded at the scene, but have turned the case over to the FBI.

โ€œWe responded and did the preliminary investigation,โ€ said Sgt. Rob Saloum, Kirkland Police spokesman.
