A 15-year-old Kirkland teen, Aizlyn Weimer, has been missing from her Kirkland home since last Tuesday, July 2, and her parents are seeking the community's help to bring her home safely.

Chris Johnson, Aizlyn's father, says she has been experiencing a spiral of problems including depression, and he and her mother, Shannon Weimer, are trying to find her to make sure she is safe.

Johnson told Patch that Aizlyn (who also goes by the first name Ashley), has been to the Youth Care Orion Center in Seattle since she left home, but later left the center, possibly heading toward the South Seattle area.

Aizlyn is known to have contacts in Redmond and Kirkland, he said. Aizlyn is  5'4", 110 pounds, with long brown hair, braces, and piercings in her left ear.

If you have seen Aizlyn, her parents ask that you call 911 or their phone numbers at 206-372-4936 or 206-235-4092. You can also contact jeanne.gustafson@patch.com if you have information you'd like Patch to share with the family.
