Kirkland Man Arrested on Suspicion of Vehicular Assault After Early Morning Crash

An unidentified woman was injured in the crash on I-405 and transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Correction: The injury in this accident was not Pamela Fox, but an unidentified female passenger. The story has been revised.

A 29-year-old Kirkland man is in King County jail after apparently causing a roll-over accident that sent an unidentified woman to Harborview Medical Center with a head injury.

The man was traveling south at a high rate of speed on I-405 in a 2006 Lincoln Town Car around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, when he clipped the back end of the Dodge Caravan that Kirkland resident Pamela A Fox was driving. An unidentified woman in the car was injured.

He lost control of his car, which rolled over into the ditch. Police believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
