Kirkland Police Investigate Downtown Assault

Woman calls 911 to report incident at business early Sunday morning, two potential suspects identified.

An assault on a woman at a business in downtown Kirkland Sunday morning is being investigated, and two potential suspects have been identified, the Kirkland Police Department said in a press release issued late Sunday night.

The woman called 911 at about 5 a.m. Sunday from a location in the 100 block of Central "Avenue," according to the release, saying she had been assaulted at a nearby business. The police are investigating and have identifed two males who might have been involved.

The release offered no other details. Patch is attempting to contact the Kirkland Police Department and will update this story when more information is available.
