Kirkland Police Investigate Downtown Assault

Woman calls 911 to report incident at business early Sunday morning, two potential suspects identified.

An assault on a woman at a business in downtown Kirkland Sunday morning is being investigated, and two potential suspects have been identified, the Kirkland Police Department said in a press release issued late Sunday night.

The woman called 911 at about 5 a.m. Sunday from a location in the 100 block of Central "Avenue," according to the release, saying she had been assaulted at a nearby business. The police are investigating and have identifed two males who might have been involved.
