A 20-year-old Woodinville man was arrested Monday in connection with a rape, according to Redmond police.

Although Redmond police spokesman Jim Bove said Tuesday he doesn't like to comment much on these cases in order to protect the victim, he said the suspect and victim were acquainted.

"I can say it was an acquaintance, it was not a stranger rape," Bove said.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.  Patch generally does not name suspects until they are charged.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
