A community notification meeting is planned regarding a Level 3 sex offender in Kenmore, at the Kenmore City Hall Jan. 29, at 6:30 p.m., according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
Level 3 RSO Timothy J. Anderson, 44, released from prison in 2000, and is currently residing in the 7000 block of NE 181 St, in Kenmore. The meeting is scheduled for Jan. 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Avenue NE.
Anderson was 16 yrs old when he was convicted in 1985 of assaulting a young girl. According to police, while playing basketball, Anderson saw a five-year-old female stranger and followed her until he was able to assault her.
Then, in 1992, a 23-year-old Anderson was convicted of the sexual assault of two children in his family, who were ages 4 and 5 years old.
According to King County Crime Watch, children should not be left unsupervised with Anderson, who has been convicted of 2 counts of first degree child molestation and one count of indecent liberties in connection with the cases noted above.
According to the sheriff's office, Level 3 offenders are considered to have a high risk to re-offend. They usually have one or more victims and may have committed prior crimes of violence. They may not know their victim(s). The crime may show a manifest cruelty to the victim(s) and these offenders usually deny or minimize the crime. These offenders commonly have clear indications of a personality disorder.
