Woodinville Resident Injured in Outbuilding Fire

A Woodinville resident suffered minor burns while trying to put out a fire Wednesday night, according to Woodinville Fire officials.

A Woodinville resident suffered minor burns while trying to put out a fire Wednesday night, according to Woodinville Fire officials.

Firefighters from Woodinville, Bothell and Kirkland were called to the fire in an outbuilding after 9 p.m. on the 12600 block of NE 173rd Place, just northeast of Kirkland.

David Weed, community services officer for Woodinville Fire & Rescue, said firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to a nearby garage and house. 

The resident was was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor burns he sustained in an attempt to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived, Weed said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.
