Original story:

The phone and computer system at suffered an outage early Wednesday afternoon and it is expected to be down for up to four hours, city spokeswoman Marie Stake said.

“We can take no calls or emails,” she said by cell phone. “We can still take walk-ins, but nothing electronic.”

The emergency 9-1-1 line remains operational, Stake stressed.

The city web site also appeared to be out. Stake said city technical staff figured it would take up to four hours to fix. “In IT-speak, a course switch went out,” she said.

Kirkland Patch will update this story as soon as the system is repaired.

City Hall is at 123 5th Avenue South.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
