City of Kirkland Unveils New Tourism Video

The two-minute video highlights Kirkland as an adventure-focused waterfront destination.

City of Kirkland Tourism recently premiered a new two-minute video highlighting the city's waterfront location and the various attractions that allow visitors to "follow your own adventure."

The video, produced by SDM Marketing Group, features many of the city's most well-known businesses, including the Heathman Hotel, Woodmark Hotel, Google, Howard/Mandville Gallery, Kirkland Performance Center and the Milagro Cantina.

Many local residents, including Christian Knight of the city manager’s office and his family, appear in the video. A total of 14 volunteer actors contributed to the project.

I wish that some of our festivals or events could have been included. I do like the emphasis on the outdoor opportunities and natural beauty. I also like that the actors are real people who live here.

Nice video, I liked the relaxed feeling portrayed. Seemed a bit long tho'.

This video would not entice me to visit Kirkland. I agree that including festivals would be great. Maybe some street dancing, Christmas ships, the city statues, Peter Kirk Park, the library. What about Juanita? ...St Edwards Park, the views from atop the hill, Cafe Juanita. Too many special highlights are missing to make time for that painting. I do like that the boats, the waterfront, The Heathman Hotel and the KPC are part of it.

In the City of Kirkland you need a City-issued business license to do Door-to-door solicitation. IRead More am willing to bet they did not have the license. Call the police next time.

This lady has a real way with dogs! Kind, soft spoken, yet authoritative with the dogs, you canRead More tell your pet will be in good hands. She's helped me with my Newfoundland and a friend's Clumber Spaniel. I highly recommend her.
