Demo 1st District Candidate Debate Wednesday in Redmond

Five Democratic candidates running for Congress in Washington's 1st District will appear at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center to answer questions from the audience and debate moderators.

 

Local Democrats will host a debate featuring 1st District Congressional candidates from 7:30 to 9 p.m. June 27 at the . 

Five Democratic candidates -- , , Steve Hobbs,  and of Kirkland -- are expected to attend. Candidates will answer questions posed by debate moderators and audience members.

The five Democratic candidates, along with Republican John Koster and Independent Larry Ishmael, will appear on the ballot for the Aug. 7 primary election. The top two candidates with the most primary votes—regardless of party affiliation—will advance to the general election on Nov. 6.

The Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center is located at 16600 NE 80th St. in Redmond. More information on the debate is available on the 5th District Democrats webpages.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
