Construction Update: Grinding Begins on Redmond Way Just East of Kirkland

Drivers should expect delays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Aug. 8 and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Grinding operations for the city's are set to begin Thursday, and drivers can expect delays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. through Aug. 8.

According to a City odf Redmond news release, the construction will affect eastbound lanes from now through Saturday, Aug. 4. Westbound lanes will be impacted from Monday, Aug. 6, through Wednesday, Aug. 8. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes on these dates. 

At the same time, the City of Kirkland is scheduled to complete construction work west of 132nd Avenue NE, along its NE 85th Street corridor, causing additional delays on Redmond Way.

Paving is tentatively scheduled to take place on two Saturdays later this month—Aug. 11 and 18. All roadwork is dependent on weather conditions.

The effort is part of a  that includes asphalt repair, resurfacing, and the replacement of road drainage pipes on Redmond Way between 132nd Avenue Northeast and Bear Creek Parkway.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
