Coolest Things To Do in Kirkland? Tourism Program Wants Your Ideas

City hopes to build itineraries on its Explore Kirkland website and Facebook pages.

The city’s tourism program is trying to pinpoint Kirkland’s signature events, activities and places, so is asking residents and businesses: What is your perfect day in town?

“We aim to bring people together so we can all experience the many things that Kirkland has to offer,” Ellen Miller Wolfe, Kirkland’s economic development manager, said in a press release.  “We know that everyone has a different way of looking at the city and we need that perspective.”

The city maintains a tourism-oriented website, Explore Kirkland, and has added a Facebook page (Pssst: It's seeking "likes"). It hopes to build itineraries based on the answers it gets from questions like, what are the experiences that define Kirkland for you?

You can submit events that would be of interest to visitors on on the Explore Kirkland site. For more information about the Explore Kirkland Facebook page, contact Miller-Wolfe at (425) 587-3014 or emwolfe@kirklandwa.gov.
