KIRKLAND, Wash. – The restoration of residential garbage, recycling, and yard waste services in Kirkland affected by the Teamsters’ Local 117 and 174 strike, , is underway.
- Customers with regular Friday pickup will receive full garbage, recycling, and yard waste service today. A double load will be collected at no additional cost.
- Customers with regular Wednesday service will receive full garbage, recycling, and yard waste service on Saturday, August 4. A double load will be collected at no additional cost.
- Customers that received garbage-only service on Thursday will have double loads of the recycling and yard waste picked up along with their garbage on their next regular service day (August 9).
- The regular weekly collection schedule will resume on Monday. Double loads from Monday and Tuesday customers will be collected on their respective regular collection days.
