The City of Kirkland is asking residents about what makes Kirkland's parks, trails, natural areas, and recreation facilities and programs great and what's needed in the future to make them even better. The Parks and Community Services Department is encouraging residents to either take a brief on-line survey or attend one of two upcoming open house events to share their experiences and opinions. To take the survey from now until October 28, go to www.kirklandwa.gov/parksopinionsurvey.
The first open house will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the North Kirkland Community Center, 12421 103rd Avenue N.E.; the second will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Peter Kirk Community Center, 352 Kirkland Avenue. Residents can drop by either open house anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
