- Support local farmers and eat fresh and healthy at the Kirkland Wednesday Market, in full swing from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Park Lane, between Lake Street and Main Street. September is the final month of the year for the market, so don’t miss it.
- Residents of Finn Hill have combined forces with the Denny Creek Neighborhood Alliance in an effort to create a new Finn Hill neighborhood association for the recently annexed area. The group meets at at 7 p.m. The meeting schedule is tentatively planned for the first Wednesday of each month at the aforementioned place and time.
