David Ramsay will serve out term on Human Services Levy Oversight Board.

Former Kirkland city manager David Ramsay has been appointed to the King County Regional Human Services Levy Oversight Board, which monitors levy proceeds designated for veterans’ services.

The board was established when county voters in 1995 passed the Veterans and Human Services Levy. Ramsay’s nomination to the board’s District 6 position was approved Monday by the King County Council.

He will serve a partial term that expires on Dec. 31, 2012.
