Hoops Time! Signup Open for Kirkland Youth Basketball

The registration deadline is Oct. 22 for the city's fun basketball league for kids in third through sixth grade.

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Calling all hoopsters! Youth grades third through sixth will have fun developing skills, learning teamwork, and making friends in one of America’s favorite activities - basketball! The City of Kirkland’s Youth Basketball League features equal play and a positive learning environment for youth sport.  Register online at www.kirklandparks.net, or by calling 425-587-3336 until October 22.

The fee is $96.36 and includes a team jersey. Practice begins November 26 and games begin January 5 at various elementary and middle schools in the Lake Washington School District.

Teams will benefit from working with dedicated, qualified and encouraging volunteer coaches who will lead players through positive interactions and encourage sportsmanship. Interested volunteer coaches are encouraged to call 425-587-3360 for a coach’s application.
