King County Forges New Marymoor Park Concert Partnership

King County has selected AEG Live to manage the talent booking and operations of the Marymoor Park Concert Series beginning this year.

King County has selected nationally recognized AEG Live to manage the talent booking and operations of the Marymoor Park Concert Series beginning with the 2013 season.

“Forming this partnership with one of the largest concert promoters in the world will bring some of the best talent in the world to local audiences, while generating revenue that helps support public access to King County Parks,” King County Executive Dow Constantine said in a news release.

“I am excited to partner with King County and continue the Marymoor Park Concert Series at this incredible venue,” said Alex Kochan, vice president of AEG Live Pacific Northwest regional office. “The addition of the Marymoor Park Concert Series to our roster is a natural fit because we already produce over 400 shows in the region annually.”

AEG Live will bring between 12 and 15 events to Marymoor Park each year from June through September. The first shows and dates are expected to be announced in spring at www.marymoorconcerts.com.

King County’s Marymoor Park is a regional landmark that features the beautiful Willowmoor Farm historical district and Clise Mansion. The Marymoor Park amphitheater has a capacity of 5,000, including 600 reserved seats.

AEG Live’s regional office currently oversees all booking and operations for the two Showbox venues (the 1,150-capacity Showbox at the Market and the 1,800-capacity Showbox SoDo) and books/produces all concerts at WaMu Theater and for the Washington State Fair Series. The office also supports all AEG Live national tours and one-offs in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia.

Marymoor Park Concert Series tickets will be available though AEG Live’s ticketing company, AXS.com. Marymoor Park Concert Series will offer reserved seats, VIP boxes, and general admission lawn seating.

VIP and season ticket holders will be able to immerse themselves in the full concert experience with access to luxury services including VIP parking, VIP/artist reception area, and first-class pre show dining options.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
