The City of Kirkland is extending application dues dates for adult vacancies on the Cultural Arts Commission and a youth vacancy on the Human Services Advisory Committee. Eligibility requirements differ for each board or commission. Interested citizens are invited to apply. Completed applications must be received by the City Clerk prior to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. The members of the advisory boards listed above are appointed by the City Council. The City Council will interview selected applicants on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, beginning at 6 p.m. Most boards/commissions hold evening meetings.
