New Developer Throws Hat into Woodinville 'Wine Village' Ring

Bellevue-based Taylor Development announced involvement with "Wine Village" property at Aug. 7 city council meeting.

 

Mark Shark of Bellevue-based Taylor Development appeared at a recent Woodinville City Council meeting to put a human face to the local company interested in developing the .

"It's an amazing opportunity I think for the community, for individual wineries both large and small, and to continue building on the brand that is in my opinion being very beneficial to Woodinville now and into the future," Shark said at the council meeting on Tuesday.

Shark said that Taylor Development is hoping to develop ideas with the help of the city and the council. "I think it's very important that it's a collaborative effort," Shark said at the meeting.

Shark said that the project is early in the acquisition stage.

Development of the "Wine Village" property, located on Woodinville-Redmond Road, could be a blow to those interested in .
