Obama to Stop in Medina Sunday For Fundraiser -- No Public Events Scheduled

The Seattle PI reports that President Barack Obama's scheduled visit Sunday includes a stop at a Medina home for a fundraising event, but no public events.

The PI reports that events on Sunday include a lunch at the Paramount Theater prepared by celebrity chef Tom Douglas, which will be $100 to $7,500 a seat and an event at ex-Microsoft COO Jon Shirley's Medina home that will cost $35,800 per couple.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says to expect a presidential motorcade in the Seattle area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., though the president's exact itinerary was not made public.
