Overnight Closures Continue This Week on 520

The shut-downs will begin on the floating bridge at 11 p.m. tonight.

Nightly road closures will continue this week on the SR 520 floating bridge as crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) test new toll collection equipment.

According to WSDOT, a gradual closure will begin at 11 p.m. tonight, when crews shut down one lane of eastbound traffic between Montlake Boulevard and 92nd Avenue Northeast.

The second lane will close at 11:59 p.m. One lane will reopen at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, and both lanes will be open by 5 a.m.
