Redmond Way Road Work to Begin Next Week

The project will repair and resurface 1.8 miles of roadway between Bear Creek Parkway and 132nd Avenue Northeast.

Construction on Redmond Way will begin next week with work on underground drainage systems and relocation of underground utilities.

The City of Redmond issued a news release Tuesday saying drivers should expect impacts to both directions of traffic. Work will be limited to non-peak hours (after 9:30 a.m. for eastbound traffic and before 3:30 p.m. for westbound traffic).

The "spot construction" work is expected to take four to six weeks. In mid-July, crews will begin the grinding and resurfacing work, which is expected to take three weekends to complete.
