Storm Update: Road Crews Plowing Priority Streets; City Hall Open
But all Kirkland recreation activities and Lake Washington School District classes are canceled today.
Road crews have been working all morning to plow priority streets near Evergreen Hospital, arterials to and from Interstate 405 and transit routes, the City of Kirkland reports, and City Hall is open as usual Thursday.
Kirkland Municipal Court is open as well, but all city recreation programs have been canceled.
The Lake Washington School District has closed all of its schools and buildings for the day and canceled all activities.
