Traffic Alert: More Nighttime Lane Closures on I-405 in Kirkland

The Department of Transportation is advising drivers that some lanes and ramps will be closed on Interstate 405 in Kirkland Monday night as part of the ongoing widening and express toll lane project.

Nighttime drivers can expect more lane and ramp closures on Interstate 405 in the Kirkland area Monday night, the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is advising.

Here are alerts WSDOT is posting on its Puget Sound area construction daily update page:

I-405 Bothell/Kirkland:

  • Crews will close the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to southbound I-405 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.Crews will close up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 128th Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 128th Street and Northeast 160th Street between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
I-405 Kirkland:
  • Crews will close up to two lanes near the intersection of Northeast 116th Street and 120th Avenue Northeast from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will work in different parts of this intersection at different times, setting up work zones both on Northeast 116th Street and 120th Avenue Northeast. However, at any given time, one lane will remain open in all directions of both Northeast 116th Street and 120th Avenue Northeast.
