Joe Goode Performance Group - Kirkland Performance Center

- Why Go: Joe Goode Performance Group, one of America’s leading contemporary dance companies brings this interdisciplinary performance to Kirkland for its Northwest Premiere. Funny, gorgeous, and very accessible, this fascinating will thrill dancers and non-dancers alike. Enjoy the show!

Contained Opening Reception - Kirkland Arts Center
- Where/When: 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 at the Kirkland Arts Center.
- Why Go: Join the Kirkland Arts Center this Friday for the Opening Reception of their newest exhibit, Contained. The exhibit examines ways that containers function within our lives. From physical vessels to metaphorical manifestations, containers influence how we preserve and organize the world around us.
- Cost: Free.
- Where/When: 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 at Parkplace Center, in the former TGIF restaurant above Rikki Rikki.
- Why Go: All those fun festivities every Fourth of July in downtown Kirkland don’t come free, so Celebrate Kirkland is planning an auction on President’s Day Weekend to help make this year’s parade and fireworks come off with a bang. The auction will include donated services such as spa treatments, fine wines, crafts, jewelry and more.
- Cost: A donation of $15 is requested.
48th District Town Hall Meeting
- Where/When: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Redmond City Hall.
- Why Go: Sen. Rodney Tom will join Rep. Ross Hunter and Rep. Deb Eddy for a town hall meeting this Saturday, to discuss progress made thus far in the 2012 legislative session and to answer questions from the public.
- Cost: Free.
