Where Can I Vote in Kirkland?

To vote in Tuesday's primary election, you can drop off your ballot at a drop box, at a mobile van, or have it postmarked.

Washington votes all by mail. To make sure your vote is counted, you can cast your ballot one of several ways:

•Send it U.S. mail. Make sure it is postmarked Aug. 6 and has the correct postage.

•Drop it off at a mobile van location, including at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Ave in Kirkland. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 6.

•Drop it off without postage at one of several 24-hour free drop box locations throughout King County, including at the Redmond Senior Center, at 8703 160th Ave NE. Ballots must be dropped off by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Accessible voting centers will be open in Bellevue, Seattle and Renton.

As of 8 p.m. Monday, nearly 17 percent of King County’s 1.2 million registered voters had returned their ballots, according to the King County Elections Office. The Secretary of State’s Office predicts voter turnout of 30 percent statewide in the primary, similar to 2011 and 2009.
