Closed LW High Baseball Field Drawing Complaints From Parents

KOMO News reports that parents complained to the Lake Washington School Board about the field, which has suffered drainage issues for years and was recently closed by school district officials. A renovation should have it ready for play by again Februar

For the last few years the field has been used primarily for practice, the Lake Washington Kangs varsity baseball team playing at the much larger Lee Johnson Field nearby in downtown Kirkland. The campus field has been the subject of complaints by players, parents and coaches for some time.
