The public is invited to tour the new facility Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6 - 8 p.m.

The Lake Washington School District plans to hold an open house at Finn Hill Junior High School and Environmental & Adventure School, 8040 N.E. 132nd,  next Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6 – 8 p.m.

LWSD Superintendent Dr. Chip Kimbal and Finn Hill Principal Victor Scarpelli, Jr., will speak at the event, followed by refreshments and jazz music.

According to the district's website, the 48-year-old Finn Hill was reconstructed in the second phase of a districtwide modernization plan. The new Finn Hill Junior High School and the Environmental and Adventure School (EAS) occupy a new, single-story 120,000-square-foot building on the same site of the previous multi-structure facility, and opened this fall. The project was funded through a 2006 bond measure.
