Kiddie Academy of Kirkland is Now Open

New child care learning center opens its doors and welcomes families.

Kiddie Academy of Kirkland, a provider of education-based child care programs for infants, toddlers, pre-school & Pre-Kindergarten children, is now open at 12620 NE 85th Street in Kirkland.

“We’re extremely excited to officially open our doors and provide high quality child care to the Kirkland community,” said Raman Thind, owner of the new academy, in a press release. “We believe that it’s extremely important to foster bonds between not only our educators and children, but between educators and parents, academies and the local community. We look forward to being an integral part of the local community.”

The academy will serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old from 6:30 a.m – 6:30 p.m. In addition, the ccademy will offer nutritious meals and snacks; web cameras through the WatchMeGrow provider; several enrichment and language immersion programs; and two age-appropriate playgrounds.

Founded in 1981, Kiddie Academy started with the idea of combining learning and child care. Kiddie Academy has since developed a comprehensive education-based child care philosophy, called Life Essentials, for its academies.

The Kirkland location will utilize a curriculum created to promote learning through play. According to Thind, the programs emphasize continuous, open communication between teachers and parents concerning each child’s development.

“We invite families to stop by or to call to arrange a tour of our brand new facility and see firsthand how Kiddie Academy delivers Life Essentials,” Thind said in the release.
