Christie Hazeltine, Director of Admissions at Bear Creek notes, “Caleb comes to Bear Creek with high honors and awards, and is very deserving of this four year full tuition scholarship, named in honor of founding Head, Dr. Nancy Price. He personifies the heart of the Price Scholarship by exhibiting his faith through academic excellence and servant leadership.”

Caleb enjoys playing the violin, chess, tennis, soccer, basketball, and has been team captain of the Northwest Chinese School math team for five years. His favorite authors are Dickens and Tolkien. Caleb will join Bear Creek in the fall as a new, rising ninth grade student.

In addition to being an exceptional scholar and athlete, he serves his community as a Sunday school teaching assistant and Vacation Bible School youth crew leader at Evangelical Chinese Church of East King County.
