Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic has for over 50 years awarded scholarships to Eastside college bound senior girls. This year, Kate Bebee of Lake Washington High School received a $300 scholarship for her academic standing and community involvement.
Bebee was one of nine local scholarship recipients, and she will be attending the University of Idaho in the fall.
Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic is comprised of representatives from all the national sororities (one delegate and one alternate from each sorority). There is a greater Seattle Alumnae group as well as groups across the nation. Their aim is to promote higher education, academic excellence and encourage community support.
