One of the Northwest's premier bicycling events, the 7 Hills of Kirkland bike ride raises funds to help end the cycle of homelessness.

With the support of presenting sponsor, Evergreen Hospital, the 7 Hills of Kirkland is a volunteer-run event held on Memorial Day, with the ride starting and finishing at Kirkland's Marina Park.  Riders choose from three routes - the traditional 7 Hill Route (approximately 40 miles), the popular Metric Century Route, or the challenging Century Route. On any route you'll enjoy the scenery, be serendaded by a bagpiper, refuel with delicious food, and support KITH, a local 501(c)(3) which helps homeless families gain self-sufficiency. Travel at your own pace through urban, suburban and rural roads on a holiday when cyclists seem to outnumber vehicles. Enjoy homemade strawberry shortcake and the "7 Hills Village" at the finish line.

See the 7 Hills of Kirkland website for more information about this great event.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
