Marymoor Velodrome Hosts Event to Honor Kirkland Olympic Medalist Jennie Reed

Reed, who took home silver in the London games, will be the guest of honor at a Sept. 7 reception at the Velodrome.

The Marymoor Velodrome will honor Olympic silver medalist Jennie Reed at a reception on Friday, Sept. 7.

Reed, who lives in Kirkland and coaches at the velodrome,  at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. 

Doors to the reception open at 6 p.m. Reed will be present to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos.

The entry fee is $5 (kids 12 and younger are free). All proceeds benefit the velodrome's youth cycling program.

The velodrome is located within at 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway N.E. in Redmond.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
