PHOTO GALLERY: Kirkland National's Brewers Win City Championship

The championship game between the top Kirkland National and Kirkland American Little League teams marks end of the regular season and start of the playoffs.

The Kirkland American and Kirkland National Little Leagues wrapped up the regular season and launched into the playoffs Wednesday evening at with the City Championship game and anouncement of All-Stars.

The KNLL's top majors team, the Brewers, won the city title by beating the KALL's best, the A's, 12-4.

The title game and All-Star ceremonies Β were originally planned for Lee Johnson Field at in the heart of downtown Kirkland, as part of Kirkland Little League's 60th anniversary. But a Tuesday night downpour left the infield muddy, so the game was moved to the KALL's home park, Everest.
