Breakdown: Juanita has had two tough games since a season-opening 48-16 win over Redmond and has faltered in both. Last week the Rebels took a halftime lead against Mercer Island, but fell big in the second half, ultimately losing 47-24. Juanita has a young roster so it will be interesting to see how the team rebounds after two tough losses. The Rebels have a good chance to get back on the winning track against Sammamish, which has started the season with three straight losses. Sammamish started the year with back-to-back close losses to Ballard and Garfield, before falling 54-7 to Liberty last week.

What: Lake Washington (2-1, 0-1 KingCo 3A) vs. Bellevue (3-0, 1-0)

Where: Bellevue High School

When: 7 p.m.

Breakdown: Lake Washington started the year with two big wins over 4A teams in Garfield and Redmond, but stumbled in a big way last week against Mount Si in a 42-0 loss. It will get tougher for the Kangs in week four, as they travel to Bellevue to take on the Wolverines, who are ranked in the top 15 in the nation by USA Today. Lake Washington rushed for five touchdowns in a week two win over Redmond and will need that in order to hang with Bellevue, which has already handled two top opponents in Skyline and Oaks Christian.
