Step Up To The Plate! City Softball League Registration Now Open

It's time to sign up for the adult season that starts in mid-April.

The City of Kirkland's adult softball season begins in mid-April, and registration is now open for its two men's divisions and one co-ed "rec" division.

The Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department is accepting teams and individuals, and you can register on-line here or call 425-587-3336. Space is limited, so early registration is advised.

Teams play seven double-headers -- four more games than last year -- on the ball field at Crestwoods Parks in north Kirkland, 1818 6th Street. Details are here.

If baseball isn't a hit with you, Kirkland's adult sports leagues include volleyball, dodgeball and new this year, "U Pitch" co-ed kickball. There are many other offerings: fencing, aquatic activities, aerobics, dance and more. Check them out here.

Hopelink's actions mandating Section 8 housing went too far. Sorry, you are off our list ofRead More organizations to support even though the support before was robust. City council listened to organized carpetbaggers and not the citizens they are sworn to represent. All that can be replaced need to go at the next election Hopelink needs to find folks to contribute who have not been done wrong by this organization.
