Calling All Young Globalists: Multimedia Journalism Summer Camp

This camp for teens is at the University of Washington and has a sliding payment scale.

Here is a great opportunity for any teen between the ages of 15 and 19: A journalism camp this summer at the University of Washington.

The Seattle Digital Literacy Initiative, a youth journalism program of the Common Language Project and UW Department of Communication, is offering a 5-day Multimedia Journalism Camp from July 23-27. Teens will learn cutting edge journalism skills on the UW campus alongside professional journalists. From photography, video, audio, editing, and publishing, participants will get hands-on experience with professional gear in an energetic, fun environment.
